I know back in Melee a lot of the names for characters’ attacks were found in the debug menu like Mewtwo’s Down Smash, if I recall correctly, being called ‘Shadow Bomb’ , and I suspect the same was done in Brawl and in this game, too.

L0RDR0B 6 years ago Okay, I might have been mistaken in that it wasn’t in the debug menu, but this is the only intact list of all the attack names that I could find. I know the Smash Bros. Still, they feel as though they’ve had too much thought put into them for them to simply be fan names. Could be a mistranslation? Or maybe the developers have decided to rename a few of the moves?
